Richelle joined a Mock Trial team last fall that is made up of both home and public schoolers. Jon and Kelsi (not siblings) are home schooled and also took Latin with Richelle the last two years.
The "case" this year is someone suing a coffee drive-through company because he was moderately to severely burned when the lid came off his cup and hot coffee spilled down his chest and into his lap. Jon was very severely burned three years ago (a story in itself but doesn't involve hot liquids) and has undergone twelve surgeries to his face, neck, and chest so he relates to the "plaintiff" quite well.
